The Issue
The Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh had been the franchises head coach since the 2008 NFL Season, had a 13-11 career playoff record, and has won a Super Bowl. He went 180-113 in 18 seasons with the Ravens at the end of the 2025 Regular Season. Since 2023, the Ravens have not won as many games as expected due to Harbaugh's blown leads and terrible in-game decision making. The Ravens "SHOULD HAVE KEPT" Mike MacDonald and made him the new head coach instead of letting him take the head coaching job in Seattle as he won the 2025 Super Bowl with a 29-13 triumph over the Patriots before the start of the 2024 season instead of letting John (CLOWN) Harbaugh waste Lamar Jackson's prime by not winning a Super Bowl beyond 2023.
They have lost a lot of close games that they should have won, along with some games that they should have lost because of their horrible defense (against the Bengals twice). On September 15, 2024, the Ravens lost to the Las Vegas Raiders 26-23 which made all Ravens fans calling for Harbaugh's dismissal after an 0-2 start. They went on to win the next 5 games and finished with a 12-5 record winning the AFC North for the 2nd straight year! In the AFC Divisional Round against Buffalo on January 19, 2025, Mark Andrews fumbled late in the game and dropped the game tying two point conversion that went off his hands to lose to the Buffalo Bills 27-25 and end the Ravens magical season with the hopes of winning the Super Bowl. Ravens fans were very much calling for his firing due to the lack of playoff success that he has had with Lamar Jackson going 3-5 in the playoffs with him.
Ravens fans have wanted Harbaugh fired since 2022 when he blew 3 double digit leads. On September 7, 2025, the Ravens blew a 40-25 lead with 4 minutes left in the game to the Buffalo Bills to eventually lose 41-40. This loss has called ALL RAVENS FANS for Harbaugh's dismissal. If John Harbaugh can't win a Super Bowl in 2026, there will need to be a coaching change because they have Lamar Jackson AND Derrick Henry on this roster and they should easily win at least one or maybe a couple Super Bowls in the next 5 years. Lamar Jackson has only won 3 playoff games (2 since 2023) as of the end of the 2025 season and needs to win a Super Bowl ASAP in order to be considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time AND a First Ballot Hall Of Famer!
If John Harbaugh were to get fired, it would make Ravens fans way more confident about their team winning a Super Bowl next year in 2026 and a team with arguably the best Owner in Steve Bisciotti and General Manager in Eric DeCosta (he always drafts very well year after year) that has assembled an amazing roster for our Baltimore Ravens! On December 7, 2025, the Ravens lost to the Steelers 27-22 on a controversial Isaiah Likely touchdown catch that was ruled incomplete EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A CATCH AN A TOUCHDOWN FOR THE RAVENS. The official rules in the NFL say that if a player makes the catch and then takes 2 steps in the end zone that the play is over and is a touchdown. This controversial call ROBBED the Ravens of first place in the AFC North and potentially the playoffs as well.
I hope for the Ravens to bring home their 3rd Super Bowl Trophy next year in 2026 with Jesse Minter and win more Super Bowls with Lamar Jackson at QB for years to come. Hopefully Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti will "FIRE JOHN HARBAUGH" by the end of the 2025 Season so that the Ravens have a higher shot of winning the Super Bowl with a better head coach that actually knows how to run the ball to Derrick Henry 30 times a game and how to not play conservative with a big lead in the 2nd half. ALL RAVENS FANS have been calling for John Harbaugh's dismissal as he got booed by Ravens fans coming off the field after an embarrassing 44-10 loss to the Houston Texans on October 5, 2025.
I hope that 2026 is a better season for both Baltimore sports teams next as they look forward to building their team with better coaches and managers. I really hope for better in the future especially a new head coach to make us the favorites to win the Super Bowl within the next couple years before Lamar Jackson is out of his prime and can't run the ball as much. On December 21, 2025, John Harbaugh BENCHED DERRICK HENRY after he SCORED HIS 2ND TOUCHDOWN OF THE GAME to lead New England 24-13 with 12:50 remaining and on the next drive INSTEAD used a RUNNING BACK ROTATION with Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali instead of using DERRICK HENRY WHO HAD 18 CARRIES FOR 128 YARDS (7.1 AVG) AND 2 TDS. It is long overdue that the Ravens "FIRE JOHN HARBAUGH" after this season.
On January 6, 2026, the Ravens fired John Harbaugh after a disappointing 8-9 season which entered with Super Bowl expectations! As a Ravens fan, I hope that 2026 begins on a better note and our defense is way better than it was in 2025! The owner Steve Bisciotti has to take full control to make big changes like this so that our city isn't suffering to worry about bringing home a Super Bowl Championship to Baltimore and having a big parade there to celebrate our wonderful Baltimore Ravens! Lets go do this before the end of the 2025 Season if the Ravens don't make the playoffs this year! "JOHN HARBAUGH'S TIME AS HEAD COACH HAS RUN ITS COURSE!"
