Dear Toledo Fire Department  Fire Chief Allison Armstrong

As concerned citizens and taxpayers in Toledo, Ohio, many of us feel deeply disturbed and disappointed by the recent comments made by Jeffery, an employee at the Toledo Fire Department. His statements have been publicly circulated, in which he expressed hateful sentiments promoting the demise of political commentator Charlie Kirk. Such statements are not only unprofessional but also promote violence and division within our community.

See Jeff Schroeder's exact words where he says "wish the guy was a better shot. Charlie Kirk offers nothing but hate and Division to society. No one would miss him and discourse would be better without him".

The city of Toledo said they were "investigating the matter" the Sunday directly after the comments he was ALREADY back on the Schedule! Allison maybe this truly happened without you knowing or you are not strong enough to get this man fired without Union approval. Hopefully this signatures help you get this done. 

Jeffery holds a respected position within our society, responsible for the safety and protection of all Toledoans, regardless of their political views or affiliations. However, his comments suggest otherwise, threatening to undermine public trust and the core values of the Toledo Fire Department. As taxpayers and community members, we believe it is crucial that our public servants uphold the highest standards of conduct and impartiality.

The safety and trust of the community should never be compromised by any form of not pretend hate speech but calls and celebrations of murder. Firefighters are expected to protect every citizen equally, yet Jeffery's words tell us that he might not provide unbiased service to all Toledo residents, potentially endangering lives.

It is crucial that the Toledo Fire Department takes decisive action. We call on the officials responsible to conduct not just a "thorough investigation" but take appropriate measures, meaning FIRE his ass. 

Jeffery is a jerk not just online but to his fellow firefighters liberal and conservative. How many good firefighters are quitting because this bully is harassing good firefighters  by threatening to sue them, name calling and possibly physical violence. Obviously he promoted it to remove Charlie what about to remove those he doesn't like?

We urge all Toledo residents and anyone who supports civility, respect, and equality within public service to join us in calling for action. Allison we urge you to do the right thing and FIRE Jeff Schroeder for all Toledoans but inparticular for your Firefighters who have to put up with this HR nightmare!
