I am officially closing this petition today. I want to give a massive shoutout to several Reddit users who accurately pointed out from day one that online petitions rarely sway massive corporate boards. You were completely right.

While our goal to replace David Zaslav with Jim Samples was fueled by passion, multinational corporations answer to institutional shareholders, debt loads, and board members—not online signatures.
