Hi everyone,
First let me start off by thanking everyone who has signed, shared and spread the word about the petition! We appreciate each and every single person who has taken the time to sign in support of Farmers, Black Farmers & Veteran Farmers!! We are able to keep going only because of your support! Your support is the only thing that has kept us fighting!
I wanted to share an update on our petition: we now have 12,218 signatures! Thank you all so much for your incredible support. Our goal is to reach 15,000 signatures so we can present this petition to the Governor, Attorney General and proper authorities to investigate the hate crimes that my family is still dealing with.
Over the past year, we have been fighting for our right to farm in peace, right to be landowners, right to be farmers and right for our animals to be safe. We held a rally at the Capitol during the legislative session, where about a thousand people came out to support the Caren Act (Caution Against Racially Exploitive Non-emergencies- which has been passed in other states and will make it a hate crime to weaponize the police on people of color) and stand with the Mallery family after we were falsely arrested by a corrupt officer who we are seeking o get terminated, Deputy Gerhart. We are still fighting to have Deputy Gerhart, who has a history of misconduct and racial bias, permanently removed from his position.Deputy Gerhart is a dirty, racist cop who abuses his power and targets Black ranchers.
After the rally, we marched from the Capitol to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Monument in City Park. It was a powerful day, underscoring that this is not just a moment, but a movement. We continue to fight for justice for our poisoned animals, our family, our ranch, and for Black farmers, aiming to provide access to healthy, farm-fresh foods. We will not stop until we get justice through passage of the Caren Act, termination of Deputy Gerhart and Royal must denounce the hate groups and arrest all those who participate in domestic terrorism against Black ranchers.
This journey has been painful, but our purpose is much greater than the hardships we face. This is a people-powered movement, and we will not stop until we get justice. This movement is powered by the PEOPLE!! Thank you for your support! Thank you for signing the petition, sharing the petition and making calls!
We will not keep living in fear under threat of lynching, burning, hanging and kidnapping in this modern day KKK assault against my family. The Sheriff's office had the choice to protect our family as victims from the hate crimes and terrorism that we face, but sheriffs office chose to align with the racist hate groups that terrorize our family. Simply put, as Martin Luther King Jr has stated "If you stand by in times of injustice, you are part of the problem". The sheriff is part of the problem and continues to ignore the blindly clear hate crimes that persist against my family, my ranch and my animals. Its obvious that often people only do the right thing when others are watching. With that said, Sheriff, the world is watching, we are no longer asking you to do the right thing and end this hate fueled terrorism against ofur family- We are demanding you do something as we are constituents also, you work for us! Our demands are clear: the Sheriff must denounce these hate groups, arrest and charge all involved, and enhance the charges due to their ongoing racial domestic terrorism. If the Sheriff fails to act, he must be fired.
The town population is not large at all. These hate groups, include about 200 members- a large part of the population- just a few of the members in the hate groups include officials such as: law enforcement officers, teachers, county workers, real estate agents, convicted murderers, convicted sex offenders, and gang members, have plotted to murder our family and steal our land. The Sheriff's office has not only allowed these groups to flourish but has actively participated in this terror. some of the names of the racist hate group members are Deputy Bretrell, Deputy Gerhart, Deputy Gonzalez, April Dustin Drew (Manager at Farmers Bank), Sara Strouse (Senior Manager at Farmers Bank of Ellicott only bank in town), Erick Ryan (convicted murderer, convicted sex offender, convicted burglar, convicted identity thief), Greg Tyner (convicted arsonist, convicted meth dealer), Manuel Beltran (gang member), Stacy Tebo (Miami Yoder School Administrator), Erick Bringhurst (Miami Yoder School Board Member), Clarisse and David Burney (health field worker), Ralph Lewis (Ranch hand at Calhan Auction), Sid and Heather Ostic(run a group called bullies of rush, Mechanic)Kat Cole (Server at Lady Luck Bar and Grill only restaurant in town), [Redacted], [REDACTED], Michael Velasco (Caliber collisiion /gang member), Nathan Mock (John Deere Sales Representative Potestio Brothers Equipment), Raquel Gee (Peyton elementary School), Carmela Berg (El Paso County Dept of transportation), Jessica Lee ([redacted]), Jessica Wilkinson (Owner photographer at Pure touch photography), D. Weaver (Medical Practice Manager at Heidi Oster, MD, PC), [Redacted] [Redacted], [REDACTED], [REDACTED] Aleta Fields (Rush Food Pantry), PJ Galaviz (Spanish teacher, Ellicott High School), Teresa Clark (Grateful Dog Rescue/threatens dogs and hurts animals) and [REDACTED] . This is just a few of the hundreds of members of the hate group of racists that actively stalk, threaten and inflict domestic terrorism on the Mallery family, the animals and Freedom Acres Ranch. We are demanding that the each and every member who has ever joined the hate group be held accountable for their criminal actions that are being committed against Farmers and Marine Corps Veterans.
Without your support, we might not be here today. Thank you for standing with us in this fight against domestic terrorism, Thank you for supporting Marine Corps Veterans, Thank you for supporting Farmers. Please continue to support by emailing and calling the Governor to demand that corrupt racist deputy emory ray Gerhart be terminated, charged and arrested for hate crimes.
