Finish the BUSINESS and COMMUNITY KILLING construction in LITTLE HAVANA

Finish the BUSINESS and COMMUNITY KILLING construction in LITTLE HAVANA
The Issue
Flagler St located in MIAMI FLORIDA has been under construction for almost two years now. This type of unprecedented irresponsibility to the city of Little Havana is devastating families and businesses all over this area. As a young entrepreneur , I set my sights on Little Havana because I believe the neighborhood had true grit, and would be our future home for many years.
To my surprise, I have waited 10 months for the area in front of my place to be finished and still no go. In our building alone, we are constantly promised inconsistent timelines that day to day KILL INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES.
The most important part of this is the community it affects. Our building has countless and countless photos of broken pipes, the elderly tracking through rock, gravel, and puddles to just cross the street. Kids falling down all over the sidewalks while wires stick out of streets everywhere.
World, this is not happening in a third world country. This is happening in one of the most expensive and superficial cities in the whole world. This type of irresponsibility on part of our FDOT community and all the TAXPAYERS that expect their money to go to responsible and well thought projects.
Take a drive down Flagler from downtown and see the devastation and bad craftsmanship. These contractors tear up pieces of road everywhere and don't come back to fix projects till months later. Broken water manes, incomplete walkways, no sidewalks.
We have to bring more attention to this tragedy in Little Havana. Just added as a "National Treasure" to our US Government. Is this how we treat our national treasures?
