The United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel is one of the most iconic landmarks in Colorado Springs and a symbol of excellence for the U.S. Air Force Academy.

The chapel has been under restoration since 2019, and the project has now stretched beyond 7 years, with no definitive end in sight. This extended timeline has prevented cadets, families, veterans, and the public from accessing one of the most significant architectural and spiritual landmarks in the region.

While we understand that major restoration work is complex, the length of this project raises serious concerns about oversight, accountability, and project management. A facility of this importance should reflect efficiency and excellence consistent with the mission of the Air Force Academy.
