More than 200,000 citizens live in East Raleigh and are affected by a long history of being a low priority.

The story continues with the abrupt break of I-540 at Triangle Town Center.

I-540 was recently improved WEST of Triangle Town Center. The west has beautifully repaved, quiet asphalt that provides a smooth and silent ride. 540 to the east is an unsafe and beat up concrete road. It's loud, hazardous and plagued with potholes.

The west gets a smooth ride and sound reducing walls. The east gets endless road noise polluting neighborhoods and apartments.

Sign the petition to request the NC DOT prioritize the repaving if I-540 east of Triangle Town Center with new asphalt and implement effective sound reduction and by 2028.

Let's ensure a safer, quieter, and more connected Raleigh for all.
