Find the Bodega Bay Sea Lion Killer – Demand Justice!

The Issue

A horrific act of cruelty has shaken Bodega Bay. A defenseless sea lion was found dead at Doran Regional Park, later discovered to have been decapitated. This was not an accident but a deliberate, brutal act, and the perpetrator remains at large.

An eyewitness described the suspect as a tan-complexioned male, 30 to 40 years old, dressed in black, riding a black fat-tire e-bike. He was seen using an 8-inch black knife to sever the sea lion’s head, placing it in a clear plastic bag, and riding away.

We have to bring him to justice.

The Marine Mammal Protection Act exists to protect these creatures, but laws alone are not enough. This sea lion suffered unimaginable terror in its final moments, and justice must be served.

Law enforcement must do everything in its power to track down the person responsible and ensure they face the full consequences of their actions.

Sign now to tell law enforcement we demand an aggressive and thorough investigation. Every resource should be used to find this suspect and hold them accountable. This crime cannot be ignored or brushed aside.

If you have any information, call NOAA’s 24/7 law enforcement hotline at (800) 853-1964.
