Thank you so much to everyone who has signed our petition so far!

Three weeks ago, representatives of Women in Cinematography met with the Camerimage festival founders and team to discuss the aims of our petition and the need for greater gender diversity at the festival. 

As a first step, the festival has agreed to publish a Diversity and Inclusion policy. We sent a first draft of a policy on 28th September and wait to hear back.

We continue to push for greater representation in events, juries and panels, as well as more transparency in future years with the team behind the film selection committees. 

Women in Cinematography are endeavouring to create some fantastic events alongside the festival and have received an immense surge of support from our signatories, as well as collectives, organisations and manufacturers around the world. Thank you!
