Against Euthanasia in the control of Stray Populations

Against Euthanasia in the control of Stray Populations
The Issue
Bula Fiji Islanders!
“Anyone who has accustomed himself to regard the life of any living creature as worthless is in danger of arriving also at the idea of worthless human lives.”
– Dr Albert Schweitzer, humanitarian
Stray overpopulation arises when uncontrolled breeding and irresponsible ownership act together.
There are many strategies to control the overpopulation of the strays. One such strategy is TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Release) and we already have funds allocated for this.
It is a cowardly act to solve our issues by taking the lives of defenceless strays that do not belong to us. They have equal rights on this planet like us. We think we are more powerful so we should be able to protect ourselves and our belongings from other living beings. Why kill them? We use our intelligence and power to help create a safe environment for all living beings.
Stop cruelty against strays. Help them through TNR.
