Hello, Dover Area High School attendants. I have a proposal for every single one of you. Are you guys tired of the schools absolute incompitence when it comes to attendance? Are you tired of the school refusing to respond, or sending you automated messages and letters instead of stepping in themselves? Do you want to take charge, and be able to impact the school in ways you'd like. Well, basically our school doesn't really care about anyone, and only themselves. They continue to watch absences build up from multiple students, and do nothing but send pointless automated messages. They make little to no contact with the families or students other than scheduling attendance meetings to "fix the issue". This can potentially lead to suicide, and even worse. All I/we want is people to be checked on if they miss x days in a row it's not that hard. So if any of those things follow how you feel, this petition is perfect for you.
