As of last week the very well known relative of delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol, delta 8 THC was classified as a schedule 1 controlled substance by the Texas Department of State Health Services, despite the fact that in 2018 a bill was signed allowing ALL hemp products and derivatives containing less than 0.03% delta 9 THC to be100% legal to posses, consume and sell with the proper license. They did this with no warning at all and absolutely zero contact to any shops leaving them to be penalized, violating the 5th amendment and infringing on human rights. In the wake of their ignorance they have jeopardized small businesses, and effecting small businesses means affecting family's, and that then puts lives in danger, eventually this decision will put more lives in jeopardy than the very substance they are attempting to rip from the publics hands, personally the substance has helped my sleep schedule tremendously my mental state is over all more stable even when not under the influence of said substance, there are countless health benefits once you start introducing blends of CBG, CBN, CBD, which is already proven to be beneficial and is sold in most pharmacy's please realize  how detrimental this really is
