The appeal regarding the extreme redevelopment of 265 The Ridgeway will be held over 8 days in the Council Chambers at the Civic Centre, Station Road, HA1 2XY next month from the 7th - 10th and continuing on 15th - 17th of June.
Harrow Council's planning website states that the inquiry will be held in-person at the above address, and will also be available online to observe and/or give peoples views (at the inspector’s discretion) via Microsoft Teams.
Anyone wishing to attend, or give their views on the inquiry must make it known to the Council’s Appeals Officer who can be contacted using the following details - Shahid Miah: planningappeals@harrow.gov.uk
Hopefully with the support of Councillors, tired of the destruction of our 'once leafy' suburb by the erection of hundreds of empty multi storey tower blocks, we can succeed in stopping the rot.
I again show a photo of what will be lost if the development is allowed to go ahead! The brown tiled roof of the Brethren's Meeting Hall can just be seen on the right of the photo ~ imagine the horrific effect of 6 more layers on top plus other similarly planned blocks!
