REVISED APPLICATION REF:  P/1492/20

My update of 19th May regarding the absence of a new planning application for the development at 265 The Ridgeway has turned out to be FAKE NEWS!

There has today (21st May) been notification by post, to a very small number of people, that a revised application has been submitted and interested parties have 21 DAYS TO RESPOND with OBJECTIONS to the plan.

Although no great detail is available on the the only change seems to be a reduction to the number of dwellings from 195 to 178 and my guess is they may have reduced the number of one bed flats?  However the proposal still states buildings will be 3 - 7 storeys high.

This development, instead of going forward, should now be looked at in context to the present grim situation the country is in and be asking if there is any need for more housing due to unemployment forecasts.  Some developments in Central Harrow are already huge, ugly white elephants!
