Although this is an incredibly bad time for everyone in the world, in Harrow there is a very small ray of sunshine for those of us who are opposed to the development plans for the Brethren land at 265 The Ridgeway.

The Planning Meeting scheduled for May 20th will be a virtual meeting and there is no mention on the agenda of the plan to develop 265 The Ridgeway.  Which, for a while anyway, is good news!

In these uncertain times predictions for the future dominate the media.  Could this pandemic change how people want to live in future and surely it won't be in high rise flats with no private, outside space for families to enjoy.  Almost everyone who came to Harrow's 'leafy suburb' in the 1940's, had a garden and now, seeing people imprisoned in blocks with limited, space has further highlighted the ugly truth with this type of development.
