The Bedouin community of Petra is today threatened . We must help them. This petition aims to draw the attention of UNESCO to the injustices  the local bédouin  community of Petra is suffering . The authorities have been ransacking Bedouin property and carrying out extremely violent actions in their village and inside the archaeological site of Petra. They are attacking a cultural heritage already victim of the harm of mass tourism. We must act and unite to alert institutions and denounce these cruel injustices! It is time to  find a communication path with the authorities and restore a genuine collaboration. 

La communauté bédouine de Petra est aujourd'hui menacée! Les bédouins ont été dernièrement violemment délogés du site ainsi que  tout bien leur appartenant à l'intérieur du site archéologique de Petra. On s'attaque  à un patrimoine culturel déjà victime des méfaits du tourisme de masse.  Nous devons agir et nous unir pour alerter les institutions et dénoncer ces cruelles injustices! Il est temps de réinstaurer un dialogue entre les communautés locales et les autorités!
