Introduction:Drug addictions is a serious problem that crosses all ages and backgrounds.It is a chronic disease that created in people the compulsion to seek and consume drug even though it hurts both themselves and only theres.Addiction changes brain structure and function in ways that make abstaining from drugs either extremely difficult or even impossible.
Consequences for addicted individuals include:
• Physical health
• Psychological problems
• Sociological problems
Drug addiction is a complex condition,with many causes.The factors include:
• Genetics
• Environment
Purposes:
The primary purpose of this concept paper is to explore the aspects of drug addictions,including those causes, consequences and intervention.By broadening our understanding of our biological and social factors contributing to addiction,this paper aims to faster informed discussion around prevention, treatment and policy making.Ultimately the goal is to develop a framework that can effectively address by the challenges posed by drug addiction and reduce its incidence in communities.
