This year the district has been using and allowing teachers to use generative A.I. even more then before. This is not only hypocritical because they discipline students for using it to 'cut corners on work' but they have made an A.I. dog post and A.I. lunch menus to cut corners instead of getting student or stock creative work. This dog photo was posted on the official EWSD Instagram, and the menus are put up in the EHS cafeteria. EWSD and Essex High School has the resources to commission art from students and faculty. The EHS AVPA program has plenty of people that love to help with their art for posts like these. We're putting this petition together to show the district that this is not acceptable and should not happen. We must continue the fight for the school to  cease the use of A.I. and start prioritising student and human creativity.
