NO Eurobasket 2015 in Ukraine!

We did not forget what happened 2012 in the preparation of the UEFA football Euro 2012 in Ukraine. More than 100.000 stray dogs were brutally killed (burned alive in mobile crematoriums, poisoned etc) to clean the streets of the host cities in Ukraine for the tourists.

Reporter and Animal Rights Activists reported from the mass murder of stray dogs and cats: “The killing of stray dogs and cats in Ukraine has reached dimensions of holocaust, in recent months."

Millions of Euros were spent to build new stadiums and much more. People from all over the world protested against the slaughter of the homeless animals in the cities of Ukraine. The organizers of the Euro 2012, UEFA and the government of Ukraine, did not care at all about that. For them only one single issue was important: PROFIT!

Now once more Ukraine will be hosting a huge sport event: FIBA Eurobasket 2015
It will take place in the same cities were, not even one year ago, thousands of stray animals got slaughtered for pure greed for profit! Profit from one big sport event. The life of thousands of animals did not count for the organizers.

THIS IS A SHAME!

The government of the Ukraine has showen their cold attitude towards animal rights. It tolerates private dog-killing-groups, the hunt of stray dogs for the use of illegal dog fights and showed its ignorance towards thousands of protest letters from many international animal rights organizations, plus thousands of private protest letters!

WE DID NOT FORGET THE CANINE HOLOCAUST IN THE CITIES OF UKRAINE 2012 FOR ONE SINGLE SPORT EVENT! THEREFOR WE WILL BOYCOTT THE FIBA EUROBASKET 2015 IN UKRAINE!

We the undersigned petition the FIBA EUROPE BASKET to relocate the Eurobasket 2015! For the sake of over 100.000 slaughtered animals, who lost their lifes for the UEFA EURO 2012, do NOT make the same mistake! Relocate your sport event!
