Dear Festival Republic 

I have sadly found the need to start this petition on behalf of the pink sheep of Latitude Festival.

I’m pretty sure i don't really need to explain how cruel and unethical this practise is.

Dip dying and submerging young sheep into to pink dye over their heads is not only terrifying for them (they are sentient beings and are actually very sensitive creatures) but also completely unnecessary. To achieve this kind of deep colour it would require being submerged for some time.

It had also been reported that the sheep are clearly uncomfortable from the dye around their eyes as they have been seen grazing with their eyes closed. On top of this, many people constantly around them taking selfies and making noise is unsettling surroundings for such gentle fright and flight animals. 

To use animals as human entertainment is deeply disturbing and i am shocked a big company like Festival Republic would allow or promote such a terrible and disturbing exploitation of animals in this way. 

I hope that this petition will make you re consider your idea of what is acceptable entertainment for your festival goers.

Please help me by signing and sharing this petition to help the Pink Sheep of Latitude be their normal colour again.
