Bring Back The Original Butterfinger Recipe

Bring Back The Original Butterfinger Recipe
The Issue
January 2018, a date which lives in infamy within the hearts of candy lovers all around the world. What is so special about this date you might ask, well it is the date that saw the candy making giant Nestle being bought out by Ferrero Group. Most people didn't know that this transaction had even occurred, I most certainly didn't, however you might have noticed it in other ways. One of the most obvious changes is noticed when you bite into one of America's favorite candy bars, the Butterfinger. As you unwrap your favorite candy you picture in your mind how it will feel and taste, and when the moment of truth arrives you are met with disappointment. Something is wrong, it doesnt taste the same way you remember it. So thinking perhaps it was a fluke you eat another and you are met with the same problem. This is the experience of many Butterfinger fans around the world and all of it comes back to January 2018. When Ferrero obtained Nestle they wanted to make their mark on the candy making industry, they wanted to improve the quality of materials used in candy and make it more healthy. So in an effort to "fix" Butterfinger they revamped the recipe and launched the "Nobody Lays A Finger On My Better Butterfinger" ad campaign. While reports show that Butterfinger sales have risen it seems like the general public opinion is that no one likes the new recipe. From angry post and comments across social media to people just outright throwing the bars away people are not happy with the new owners move to mess with the classic recipe. Let the Ferrero Group know that we, the consumers and the candy lover, want our old Butterfinger back.
