We welcome this consultation but we don’t want this to end up the same way as the Compulsory Microchipping of Dogs fiasco, which fails owners searching for their missing microchipped pets!
Microchip databases need to work to help and protect missing microchipped pets and unless the microchip system is supported 100% by the veterinary professionals the whole system remains not fit for purpose.
#FernsLaw petition has listed all the problems that need to be changed to make Compulsory Microchipping for dogs and cats work! Read more:- http://chng.it/pKPKg255
