On September 14, 2018, another tragedy struck our hometown of Brentwood when a woman driving an SUV struck Evelyn Rodriguez killing her on the anniversary of her daughter's murder. This woman, whose name has yet to be disclosed, took our warrior from us. To date, the Suffolk County Police Department has not made an arrest and no charges have been brought against this woman whose negligent behavior resulted in Evelyn's death. We are demanding justice for Evelyn and calling on Suffolk County's County Executive, Steve Bellone, Police Commissioner, Geraldine Hart, and District Attorney, Timothy Sini, Esq. to make an arrest. 

We are also demanding complete transparency with the ongoing investigation. To date it has been 11 days since Evelyn's life has been taken from us and the Suffolk County Police Department has yet to release any information including the driver's name. This is unacceptable!
