i am a mother of a veteran that lost his life to Fentanyl at 30 years old.   This petition will help me get in front of congress to have the law changed.  Please help me as we need to save an entire generation from death from fentanyl.   We cannot continue to allow the dealers to distribute a deadly drug in nearly everything including alcohol.  I think with harsher punishment like the Karma law it will deter the mules as the money they earn isn’t worth life in prison.  Yes it will take an enormous amount of time and money to end the epidemic but each step forward is one step closer to saving a child’s life. While I couldn’t save my son this law will hopefully save lots of lives when the penalty is life for a life.  This is not political and honestly I do not care what President it is only linked to this President as he is in office but if we don’t get signatures it will change for next administration.  Thank you for supporting this law 

Fentanyl is a deadly drug that has caused countless deaths across the country. It's a synthetic opioid that is 50-100 times more potent than morphine and has no medical use. The drug is often mixed with other substances, making it even more dangerous.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), fentanyl was involved in over 109,680 overdose deaths in 2022 alone. This number has been steadily increasing over the years, and it's time we take action.

We propose a Karma Law that would give life sentences to dealers caught selling fentanyl These dealers are knowingly putting people's lives at risk for their own profit, and they deserve to face severe consequences.

This law would not only hold these dealers accountable but also serve as a deterrent to others who may consider selling this deadly drug. We need to send a message that dealing fentanyl will not be tolerated.
