Tomorrow afternoon all of Fenland District Council's councillors will have the opportunity to attend a seminar about the proposed brown bin charge. The meeting will not be open to the public. I have just emailed all of those councillors asking them to confirm whether or not they will be attending. I have also provided each of them with a copy of the list of signatories *as it stands*. It runs to a whopping 44 pages, without the inclusion of any of your comments! Congratulations to all who have signed, as that's pretty massive! I've asked councillors to read the comments left on Change.org and have urged them to make sure that residents' views are represented. This isn't the end of our petition, though. On Friday morning I'll be speaking on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. I'll either be declaring victory or galvanising support for the fight ahead. It's up to the local councillors to decide which it will be... Please keep sharing this petition with your friends. This will help us to show even stronger support ahead of the meeting tomorrow afternoon, and will help us to fight on if councillors don't back down. Best wishes, Lawrence P.S. We also featured for a SECOND time in today's Fenland Citizen!
