Animals are being mistreated, Environment is getting exploited. All this is impacting us as diseases like COVID-19, Diabetes are on the rise.
What if I told you, there is a way to reduce these problems ?? If we cut down on animal meat consumption and go Vegan we can solve many of the above problems.
Animals are being raised, reared and kept for meat, milk, eggs and other products. This is animal agriculture and it is the second largest emitter of Greenhouse gases. Also, millions of animals get slaughtered every year and there is a heavy burden on the environment as all these animals have to be fed and transported leading to impact on environment.
These animals are generally kept in despicable conditions and are tightly packed in small cages or cells. They suffer emotionally and physically before they are slaughtered for meat.
Vegan diets provide nutrition from plant foods such as whole grains, fruit, vegetables, which are full of vitamins, fibre and minerals. Research has suggested that vegan diets can help reduce diseases like high blood pressure, obesity and diet.
