No Mandate for Scouts South Australia

No Mandate for Scouts South Australia
The issue
No mandated vax in scouts
I am aiming to make Scouts SA aware the community does not support mandated vaccine requirments to be an adult in scouts South Australia. Your support will be appreciated.
Please find below the Diversity and inclusion statment for scouting world wide. It is promoted and supported by Scouts Australia and its sub branches. here in South Australia there will be an announcment on the 28th regarding mandating of adults in scouting to be vaccinated against covid. For members who are not, they will not be allowed to continue there passion (we are awaiting the 28th Jan for clarification), guiding kids to be confident, ressilient, try new things, learn skill, teach life skills, get outdoors under the stars and most of all learn to work in patrols.
I am putting this partition together as I am antimandate, Yes I am vaccinated by my own choice. I believe it is a personal choice and one which the individual has to make, not forced to make to continue there passion for scouting. It will only be the youth that suffer.

"Diversity and Inclusion in Scouting"
"WOSM is working towards ensuring that Scouting is truly open and accessible to all, better reflecting the composition of our communities and different societies in our countries. Scouting is proud to have given generations of young people equal opportunities to grow and develop their full potential through empowering and enriching experiences regardless of their background.
In Australia we have opened Scouting to all regardless of gender for over thirty years, and provide programs that embrace the diversity of our communities and aim to be inclusive of all abilities. While everyone is welcome within our regular Scout Groups, we also have some specialised Groups which are tailored to specific abilities, or religious and cultural communities. To find out more, contact your Branch for more details."
"In line with Scouts Australia’s Values, Goals, Principles and Law set out in Policy and Rules, all adult and youth members, supporters, helpers and employees are committed to embracing diversity and ensuring inclusion. This is not a new position for Scouts Australia and its Branches – it just clarifies what has been the accepted approach for several decades."
"Scouts Australia’s members and supporters are respectful, ensuring that they do not discriminate against people on the basis of race, geographic or ethnic origin, religious or spiritual belief, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital or family status, mental or physical ability, health status, educational background or socioeconomic status, except where specific exclusions are necessary and permitted by law (for example, see Scouts Australia’s Child Protection and Prescribed Procedures)."
Email recieved from Scouts South Australia
"Further to the vaccination survey sent to members late last year, the BEC met in December, 2021 and endorsed in principle direction to Scouting which will require mandating vaccinations for anyone in Scouting over 18 years. This decision is in line with the current Emergency Management Act Direction relative to Child Care and Education. The BEC charged the CEO and CC to work on the detail and consultation with members and we will provide more information on this on or around the 28th January, 2022."
