For many years, “dressing to impress” has been a Varela Grad Bash tradition; however, us Vipers are hoping that this year we can deviate from this tradition and experience this amazing day more comfortably. We hope to do this not by eliminating the dress code entirely, but rather by dressing in accordance to Universal Orlando’s official dress code (as pictured above). This dress code not only allows, but encourages, seniors to come dressed in comfortable clothing while still, of course, looking their best.

Some pros of this include (but are not limited to!):

-An infinitely times more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

-More freedom to experience the many water rides of the park without the limitations nicer clothing might bring about. 

=For those who wish to do so, the ability to bring a hat to protect against the blazing sun. 

-Drawstring bags would allow for easier, and most importantly SAFER, storage of valuables including phones and wallets. It would also allow for more convenient storage of items like portable chargers, sanitary products, and purchased souvenirs.

-A bit of financial relief from those who may have had to buy an outfit for this occasion.

We hope Varela Administration will take this into consideration and change these policies to allow for an event even more incredible than ever
