We the students of Felician University are highly upset because of the new meal plan. Us students feel like we should be given our meal money that we had in the past! If we can not manage our own money then so be it, that is not your problem to solve! We pay almost $6,000 per semester and we are only given the option to spend $100 per semester! Does that make any sense? We are being deprived of our freedom. Why can't we eat what we want to eat without having to worry about swipes running out? As an administrator, how many times a day do you eat? Giving us an option for 19 swipes is not even enough swipes to eat 3 times a day. What about the weekend? Why is Felician getting more unorganized by the second! Why can us students not be free and spend our own money that we pay for. Every year we are being told that the food and the school will be better, and every year the food and school gets worse! Why can't we swipe for our guest? HOW HARD IS IT TO LISTEN TO THE VOICES OF THE STUDENTS? (the ones that pay your bills?) Felician's motto is "Students First" but yet we are last to have a input in every decision made on campus! Who authorized this new meal plan? Why were the student not involved in the decision making process? Why do we have money to spend on a new gym but not feed our students? If a decision to reverse the meal plan is not made by October 1st, all students will be protesting on and around campus.
