A controversial video of popular feminist Zarna Joshi harassing Rudy Pantoja, otherwise known as "Hugh Mungus" surfaced on the internet in recent months. Zarna baited Rudy into a discussion with her by pointing her camera in his face and demanding to know his name. Rudy, being a typical dad & funny guy, replied by stating that his name was "Hugh Mungus." This was a joke in reference to him being having a big gut and being otherwise out of shape. However, this caused Zarna to become unjustifiably outraged, because she immediately assumed he was referring to the size of his penis. She proceeded to scream at him, call him names, try to get him arrested, and even went as far as to scream that he "sexually assaulted" and harassed her. This was an attempt to embarrass and invoke violence against Rudy, which failed, and only embarrassed Zarna.

Mr. Rudy Pantoja was contacted by popular YouTuber h3h3Productions for an interview about the incident, and they remained in contact as friends for some time after all the controversy had died down. After h3h3Productions later reached out to Rudy for a chat, he came to find out that Mr. Rudy Pantoja was not well and is currently battling cancer. Upon learning this, h3h3Productions started a fundraiser using the website "www.youcaring.com" in an attempt to raise funds for Mr. Pantoja's medical bills. Several thousands of dollars had been raised when h3h3Productions received an email notifying him that Mr. Pantoja's cancer fund had been taken down. The reason given for the unjust removal of this fund was as follows:

"We are reaching out today to inform you that your fundraiser "Papa Bless Hugh Mungus AKA Rudy Pantoja Jr." has been removed from YouCaring. This decision was reached because the subject matter incites controversy, does not have a clear cause, and does not fit within our listed categories. All funds raised will be refunded to donors by WePay." Just like that, YouCaring shut down this man's fundraiser, while stating that it is in violation of their Terms of Service or "incites controversy." I ask those signing this petition to please consider the fact that, the decision to remove this fundraiser was wrong on so many levels, and I personally believe that this was done out of unjust bias. I do not believe that raising funds for a man that is suffering from a life threatening illness is in any way in violation of YouCaring's Terms & Conditions, nor do I believe that the petition incited controversy, was unclear or misleading, or did not fit within the listed categories.

That said, I believe YouCaring should be held accountable for their abuse of the very system they have implemented to protect it's users. I believe this incident should be investigated and taken seriously, as this could have very well ruined Mr. Pantoja's chances of receiving the medical help he deserves. The decision they made to remove the fundraiser could have had devastating consequences had h3h3Productions not immediately started a new fund via GoFundMe's website. With this in mind, we must ask ourselves if we should allow this to go unnoticed, as it could very well hold the same consequences for others further down the line. I believe their decision should be investigated and the company should be held accountable if said decision was made for corrupt or reasons based on bias.
