For years, the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) operating under the aegis of Federal ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has demonstrated huge inconsistencies in the disbursement of the SIWES stipend of 15,000 naira to IT students across institutions without any explanation to justify the rationale behind this. This has to stop. Government parastatals should be accountable and responsible towards financial issues. If for any reasons why ITF can't pay for in a particular year, it should be communicated to the students through the respective institutions or other means. We demand a transparent ITF. It's time elites!
