Our petition hit 5,000 signatures last night - well done to all! Without your support this would not have been possible. Everyone who has signed wants to see a cure for mesothelioma and other rare less known cancers (RLC) ideally in our lifetime, in the meantime thanks to immunotherapy drugs such as Keytruda that has shown great response in many of these cancers we will get this on the PBS (pharmaceutical benefits scheme) for patients to have a choice of treatments without having to pay for expensive drugs such as Keytruda. I have an appointment within the next few weeks with our Health Minister's Senior Advisor and will present my petition on behalf of all who have signed and for those who have lost their lives to deadly mesothelioma and for those who are living with this aggressive and brutal cancer.
