I watched a horrific W5 show aired Saturday night on animal testing. I really had no idea this type of animal testing took place in Canada. The industry is unregulated by the Federal Government and although there is a governing body, a portion of their funding comes from the animal testing companies. Major conflict of interest!
Animals used are Beagles, Pigs and Monkeys, along with rats, mice, etc. They 'live' (if you can call it that) in horrific conditions, endure unspeakable treatments, and receive little if any affection or comfort.
