There are so many adoptable dogs and cats that the government should step in and require all new pet owners to spay or neuter their pets. This would reduce the amount of needless killing and suffering of innocent animals! Even if all owners were required to do this, there would still be adoptable pets, we have thousands upon thousands roaming the streets everyday in every town, city, suburb and metro! I feel it is our responsibility to take charge of this issue and tell the government how we feel!
