Today is Wild Koala Day...
This is Mo.
He was rescued yesterday by John and Alex, from his home in the wild here at Esk. It was incredible to witness John and Alex in action, who had travelled all the way from Cleveland.
Mo is currently being treated by the wonderful staff at the RSPCA Centre at Wacol. We are optimistic that he will be returned to the wild here again soon.
We are so very fortunate for such people like John and Alex, and for all those who rescue, care for, save and protect all our native wildlife and their wild habitats. Many such people are volunteers.
We thank each and everyone of them for their ongoing efforts. Their dedication and commitment is truly inspiring.
