Welcome to the Lift Australian (AUS) 4x4 Regulations petition. This Petition is aimed at the Australian 4 wheel drive (4WD) laws and councils of Australia. In conjunction with 4WD lifts and modifications allowed by the Australian Design Rules (ADR) and individual States/Territories. The 4WD community is seeking a reform to the 4WD ADR's as each states ADR's vary form State to State and/or Territories .  With the current ADR's each State or Territory has its own standard for modifications, While 1 vehicle's modifications maybe legal in one State/Territory it may not be legal in another State/Territory which may result in vehicle defects and/or fines. We are lobbying to lighten and expand the ADR's modifications restrictions, To include  : 4 inch suspension lift from vehicle factory height. : be allowed to increase tire diameter by 50 milimeters (mm). : Allow body lifts to the ADR's. : Increase of allowed wheel track width. With modification technologies advancing with higher quality and stronger components modifications tend to enhance vehicle safety. we would like the option of Recreational registration for heavily modified that do not comply with the ADR's
