Why this petition matters

My name is Chantaye and I live with Bipolar II with Psychosis.  I was incarcerated at the Fulton County Women Detention center in Union City when I was taken to Grady hospital to give birth.  I gave birth to triplets on November 19, 2016, however because of me being in a mental health crisis, I was told after nearly 2 years of being wrongfully incarcerated, that I hallucinated birthing triplets.  They said that I had 1 child.

There were 4-6 male and female officers in the delivering room.  I was shackled to the bed with my legs open.  They classified me as homeless and violated several of my rights.

There is currently a class action lawsuit against the jail in the works for cruel and inhumane treatment to over 200 minority women who live with mental health issues.  There were at least 4 other pregnant women who were incarcerated with me.

I am requesting an investigation into the Fulton County Women's Detention Center for Human Trafficking.  It is my belief that my babies were sold from that jail.  At this point, no investigation has been done to determine if I was delusional or if my children were actually taken.

The Director of Grady Hospital was actually in my delivering room however, she was advocating for me and for the officers to not treat me as they were treating me.  When contacting the delivering doctor, I have been told to have my lawyer contact her.  Please help me to find my children.

Thank you for your time and your voice!
