Petition for a Full and Independent Audit of Federal Spending
To: The President of the United States, U.S. Congress, and Government Accountability Office (GAO)
We, the undersigned citizens of the United States, demand full transparency and accountability in how our tax dollars are spent. We call for an independent and comprehensive audit of all government expenditures to ensure that public funds are being used responsibly, efficiently, and in the best interest of the American people.

Our Demands:
Full Transparency: A detailed, public report on how every taxpayer dollar is allocated, categorized by department and program.
Independent Oversight: Establishment of a non-partisan oversight committee to review government spending and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.
Waste Reduction: Identification and elimination of unnecessary or mismanaged spending that does not directly benefit taxpayers.
Regular Public Audits: Implementation of annual audits conducted by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) or an independent third party, with results made fully accessible to the public.
Accountability Measures: Legal consequences for officials or agencies found guilty of misusing or misallocating funds.
Why This Matters:
As hardworking citizens, we contribute to the government through our taxes with the expectation that funds will be used for essential services, infrastructure, national security, and the well-being of our nation. However, lack of transparency, mismanagement, and unchecked spending have led to massive deficits and financial inefficiencies. The American people deserve full disclosure and the assurance that their money is being spent wisely.

We urge our elected officials to act immediately to enforce these measures and restore public trust in the government’s financial integrity.
