Australia needs a Parental Consent Act similar to the one introduced in America. The Parental Consent Act is a federal bill introduced by Congressman Ron Paul, which prohibits federal funds being used to establish or implement any mandatory or universal mental health/psychiatric screening of schoolchildren. It also establishes a parent's right to refuse mental health screening of their child. This is a crucial bill which must be passed to guarantee parental rights. We urge everyone to sign the petition in support of a similar bill being introduced in Australia to protect our Children too.
