Braiden Norton is an 8 year old boy with a Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma, a brainstem tumor that he has had since he was a year old. A JPA (Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma) develops from certain star-shaped brain cells called astrocytes. Astrocytes and similar cells form tissue that surrounds and protects other nerve cells found within the brain and spinal cord. A JPA that sits on the brainstem causes symptoms resulting from increased pressure on the brain and include headaches, nausea, vomiting, balance problems and vision abnormalities. Without the ANP(Antineoplastons) drug, this tumor will continue to grow until it causes more severe symptoms which include seizures, impairment in language function, gradual changes in mood or personality, memory loss and ultimately death.

Braiden's chance of survival is dependent on the timely manner of resuming a treatment that has proven to work and be very safe for him. Time is running out!
