Stop Poisoning Wildlife Animals with Injectable Euthanasia Solutions
Wildlife Animals are Dying each Day from Scavenging on and Ingesting Animals Euthanized using Injectable Solutions given by Veterinarians. Require Vets to Report Animals they Euthanize.
The Solution To Our Issue:
Rendering Facilities charge .05lb on average to haul away the passed animal and turn it into something new and useful.
My proposal is that when veterinarians euthanize a livestock animal it is REQUIRED for them to report the death to the FDA or AVMA within the half hour of the animals death. A tarp will also be supplied and required to cover the carcass to prevent ingestion before renderer comes. From there the associations will set up the renderer to pick the animal up and dispose of it within 24 hours. Renderers can get time extensions for certain situations by contacting the FDA or AVMA.
This concept will end the death of wildlife animals due to ingestion of toxic meat/flesh. It will also provide more employment for renderers and essentially help improve the economy as well.
Owners will be required to pay the rendering fee unless in the following exception.
-) If you have an average yearly income of $15,000 or less you may qualify for an assisted removal fee. (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE THIS ANNUAL INCOME)
In this case the rendering company would be responsible for 45% of the rendering fee as part of its legal duties as a rendering company.
