Online learning is so harsh on kids and teens. i believe that Wednesday should be a day off because it’s so hard for many students to learn over the computer every day, it’s a lot of stress. Students could use that day to do work and if not that’s up to them. Wednesday is already a weird day and i know a lot of students who think there shouldn’t be school Wednesday. If we took Wednesday off then students would be less stressed because they would know “i don’t have to sign onto classes and i have time to do my work” students would be able to loosen up and not be so stressed. They would be able to do the work on their own time and still get everything done. All i’m asking is for no online classes. If teachers have to or want to give out asynchronous work then so be it. I just think students find it easier to get the work assigned to them to do it on their own time and not have to wake up at 7:30 in the morning to join an online class. Teacher should be available during the day in google meet but we shouldn’t have to join. Personally that’s just my opinion and i believe many others have the same. This would just be on Wednesdays so it’s just a thought.
