Stop Killing Stray Dogs in Colombo, Sri Lanka

The Issue

Stray dogs are being rounded up again in the capital of Sri Lanka: Colombo.

They are kept for a few days and than Killed by injection. There are now few confirmed news around in Colombo and also by local residents.

The authorities have promised a humane solution and will be having a meeting to discuss the same, they are now behind the back of the residents in Colombo doing the opposite. There are witness evidence stating the dogs are taken away and never returned. Without Legislation to protect these dogs caught, they will be killed.

Please Let The Health Minister Mr. Fazier Musthafa know that this is not correct. To allow dogs to be Spayed and Neutered to control the population because this is the humane way to treat the stray dogs. Dogs can also be vaccinated to control any viruses and or diseases.
