The charges against protest leaders are still pending as of December 28, 2021. Our lawyer is sending a request for mediation that may offer an opportunity to avoid trail and drop the charges. If this mediation is not a sucess, trial for protest leaders is set for February 7, 2022 at 9 AM, courtroom 2.

Prior to trial, Peoples Blueprint is releasing a series of documentaries entitled "Bluegrass Uprising: The People's Revolution. The first three installments released cover the history of the movement for police accountability from August 2014 to May 2020 Bluegrass Uprising Part 1, and the 59 days of sustained protests in Lexington, KY starting on May 29, 2020.
