Thank you so much to everyone who has taken time to show support of Middle School music education! Today, January 14th, I have contacted Fauquier County School Administration (Dr. Jeck and Sandra Mitchell) and have shared our petition and related comments. Next actions will include attendance to school board meetings where all school board members can review our concerns and (hopefully) respond with a plan of action to roll back these cuts. I will update as I receive more information. Please continue to encourage everyone to remain involved and to sign the petition. Also brief, respectful letters to Dr. Jeck (djeck@fcps1.org) and Sandra Mitchell (smitchell@fcps1.org) are extremely helpful. More voices make a louder noise!
