Keep Police Graduation on Campus

The Issue

The May graduation of cadets at the Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy will instead take place off-campus, at a Falls hotel.  Due to Father Maher's decision to relocate the Niagara County law enforcement's graduation to an offsite location in response to perceived pressure from potential protestors facilitated by liberal professors, we demand that the graduates' rightful graduation be reinstated.  The law enforcement academy has earned the same rights to have their graduation at the same university in which they have completed their studies at, just as any other program the university has to offer.

This move sets a dangerous precedence for any program in the future that a group may deem unpalatable.  What other programs might someone take issue with?  ROTC?  Teaching? Criminal Justice?  Where does it end?  The students of the Academy spent the same tuition as everyone else, and pays the salaries of the very professor(s) who are allowed to create this unrest, and unsafe culture for the students. Every tuition paying, graduating student deserves the same respect for their accomplishments and the same graduation experience.
