Tell Farmfoods to stop supporting cage cruelty!

Farmfoods might shout about the fact that it sells 'quality frozen food', but they are very quiet about one food item they continue to sell; eggs from caged hens!
Farmfoods sells eggs from hens kept in cruel ‘colony’ cages. Many people think it’s now illegal to keep hens in cages, but these so-called ‘colony’ cages are still legal, and unlike many of their competitors, Farmfoods continues to use them.
Hens forced to live in these cages live a life that simply isn’t worth living. They will suffer their entire lives standing on a wire-mesh floor crammed in cages with as many as 90 other hens. They will never get to experience the sun on their back or grass between their toes.
Virtually all other major retailers—including Tesco, Sainsbury, Lidl, Aldi, Asda, M&S, Waitrose, The Co-op, Iceland, and others—has made commitments to go cage-free.
Please, sign our petition and let Farmfoods know that you do not want to be supporting this kind of extreme animal cruelty by shopping at Farmfoods. It's time for Farmfoods to join its competitors and the 21st century by producing a timeline to exclusively source eggs from cage-free farms.
