May 30th, 2020 -- During a rally in Fargo, North Dakota for Black Lives Matter and George Floyd, local man Michael Griffin drove his vehicle into protestors. In doing so, he drove around a police barrier put up to protect protestors from traffic, accelerated toward the protestors, and caught one person on the hood of his car whom he carried there for a distance of three blocks.

Griffin was arrested, but currently he is only facing charges of aggravated reckless driving. Considering the lengths he went to and the weapon he wielded, we the undersigned believe that this charge is insufficient and that Griffin's behavior demonstrates an intent to kill.

We believe that instead of or in addition to the current inadequate charges, Michael Griffin should be charged with attempted murder for his vicious attack on Black Lives Matter protestors.
