Organize a fanzone & big screen for Wales EURO 2016 fixtures!

The Issue

Wales have qualified for their first international tournament since 1958. In Gareth Bale we have the World's most expensive footballer. We play England in our group fixtures, a huge event in British Sport. Such a momentous achievement and sporting event deserves to be enjoyed by as many of the thousands of football fans in Wales who could not travel to France for the tournament, as possible. As such, the lack of organized fan events is a disgrace and an affront to the team and their effort. So I call on all relevant parties to provide fans the chance to spur their nation on this summer by organizing a fanzone/big screen in the Capital, or beyond. Be it at the Castle grounds, Cardiff City Stadium, Roath Park, Millennium Stadium (as they did for the Welsh Rugby team) or anywhere else. The City would make millions in revenue and the image of thousands of fans back home would inspire the players and make this summer the historymaker it is! I mean, Liverpool just did it with the Echo Arena for the Europa League final to great success. They are a City. We are a Nation. Come on. If it's good enough for the Rugby World Cup, it's good enough for EURO 2016.

So far we have been featured on BBC Radio Wales with Jason Mohammad, Wales Online, as well as recieving support from Councillors, AM's, MP's, MEP's and the Football Supporters Federation Cymru. Come and join the campaign!
