This petition is to encourage banning the black plastic containers in order to use containers which are recyllable/reusable and not single use.  Black plastics are not recyclable and often go to landfill at recycling facilities. 

Why?  The scanners are unable to pick up black plastics on a black conveyor belt as they operate by optical light readings (sort by colour).  It would be beneficial to the college to opt in for a recyllable container instead of sending them to waste!!
